Kho Phangan has to offer a lot of popular things to do one being snorkeling at many of Koh Panghan beaches, one beach in particular is in the northeastern tip near by Ko Maa.
Located in the center of the Koh Samui Archipelago, Koh Phangan is ideally situated in the near of top destinations such as Ang Thong National Marine Park and Koh Tao. Nearby Ang Thong archipelago is composed of more than 40 tiny islands, endowed with natural caves and surrounded with tranquil salt water.

Ko Phangan's climate is almost always a perfect for a holiday. Blue-sky days and a steady sea breeze nearly everyday. The best time for a visit, end of December to the end of March is the ideal vacation island experience.
On the island many different things to fill up your day. Once it's late the island offers a active Night Life, ranging from typical Karaoke bars, Beach Bars to normal Clubs or upscale Night Clubs.
Koh Phangan is approximately 2 1/2 hours from Don Sak and about 45 minutes from Koh Samui Island by boat. The cheapest way from BKK to Koh Phangan is to get yourself a ajoint ticket from Songserm Travel who operates joint ticket for (Ferry and Express boats, bus, train, air) to Koh Phangan. Or another option is to get an 1 hour flight by Bangkok Airways daily from BKK to Samui and take the catamaran boat to Phangan.
The most visited of the beaches, Haad Rin and Chaloklum always have a scattering of sun worshippers but there's also quieter, more secluded bays and beaches.
Kohphangan's monthly Fullmoon Party is asia's best known beach party, with international DJ's from all over the world lining up to have the honor of playing.
