There are concrete roads to Had Rin, but you have been warned that the concrete roads are not in the best condition and only if consider yourself a good motorbike driver then don't attempt to get to HaadRin, as most accidents involving scooters happen in this area. Our advice is to leave your motorcylce at the seven eleven at BaanTai and pay approx 60 Baht for a pick up over the mountains to HadRin.

Kohphangan is situated in a natural paradise Phangan was inhabited as long as 2000 years ago by sea gypsies traveling by boat from the Malayan Peninsula. The island was later settled by Chinese people many of them from Hainan .
The Island has many popular things to do one being snorkeling at many of Koh Panghan beaches, one beach in particular is in the northeastern tip near by Koh Ma.
Phangan has as well a choice of upper class resorts to offer, to name just a few as example Salad Buri Resort or Sun Set Cove. All of them have a very good service and can be recommended to everyone able to afford them.
There are many ways to get around the island, you can use a cab for a small amount of money,or you are experienced enough you can hire a motor car or motorcycle and do it in your own time.
The most visited of the beaches, Haad Rin and Chaloklum always have a scattering of sun worshipers but there's also quieter, more hidden bays and beaches.
Koh Phangan's monthly Full Moon Party is the world's most famous beach party, with international DJ's from all over the world lining up to have the honor of playing.
